So why has it been almost a month since we recorded a podcast? Well it's simple, we've been busy! And when we're not busy, we're just too tired to record a show. Hopefully soon we'll get back in the saddle and whip one out for ya!

Hey everyone, we're still alive! We've gotten into Seattle and moved into our apartment, we've just got really limited internet access. All that should be fixed soon. Stay tuned.

Hello again,
We are in Deer Lodge, Montana tonight. Tomorrow we will end up in Kalispel around noon. We will stay there for a couple of days and rest from the traveling while we visit family. Thursday we will resume the trip to Seattle and should arrive that evening. The drive today was long, but the scenery was awesome. We will post a few more pics on our flickr page before we turn in for the night. Thanks for the love and support that you all have given us.
Big Love from the Big Sky Country,
Tim and Shonda
P.S. Nuchi has stopped itching.

We just wanted to send a quick update on our traveling
situation while we have internet access. We got on the
road at 6 am on Saturday and ended up spending the
night in Dumas, Tx after 16 hours of driving. Today
we have stopped in Wheatland, Wy with only 13 hours
of driving. We forecast spending tomorrow night in
Mt., but we won't be in Kalispel, Mt until Tuesday
morning. We are looking foward to spending time with
family on Tues and Wed. Hopefully we will be able to
see Glacier National Park. Thursday we will be in
Seattle. Other than Shonda throwing up all night
Friday, Nuchi developing itching issues and over
packing the Penske Truck we have had a great trip.
The scenery is beautiful and we can see God's glorious
canvas everywhere. We love you all.
Tim and Shonda

Hey guys, for those keeping track, here's an update on what's going on in the lives of Tim and Shonda:
Shonda's last day at her job of the last 2 years is tomorrow, Tim's last day at one of his jobs is also tomorrow. His last day at his other job is on the 28th. On Saturday, we're taking my (Tim's) grandparents to the airport in Houston. Their flight to Vancouver, Wa leaves around 9pm, so it's a late night for us. Sunday afternoon we're leaving with the church youth group to do missions work in New Orleans. It's about a 3 hour drive, not too bad. All week we'll be gutting houses, cutting trees, and hanging sheetrock in 95 degree weather. Gotta love Louisiana. The high today in Seattle is 60. Wow. I'm looking forward to the cooler weather for sure.
After New Orleans, it's a week and we're gone!

Hey guys, welcome to the audio experiment known as 2700 Miles. What's it all about? A husband and wife pack up to move 2700 miles from Lake Charles, La to Seattle, Wa. This podcast will be their audio document of that journey. Sometimes mundane, sometimes exciting, but always, well, we haven't quite figured out what it always will be. Check out Episode 1, full of hopes, fears, and hobbies!
